I am a member of the Mayor's Youth Program, and have asked her to be the guest of honor of the show. Today I received confirmation that Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin will be attending the show as the Guest of Honor! As the 58th Mayor of the City of Atlanta, Shirley Franklin became the first female mayor of Atlanta, and the first African American woman to serve as mayor of a major Southern city. COOL COOL COOL!
