Today Joe, "Graphic designer for the label" went with me to view a potential venue for the show. He saw the ad in Metro Atlanta's weekly newspaper Creative Loafing. We drove up, and you wouldn't believe that this place even existed in Atlanta’s Midtown area. There are "Private KEEP OUT" signs everywhere, Chickens running around, and a groundskeeper who looks as if he is straight out of a Harry Potter movie. Already I am thinking this place is RAW, maybe too raw for a fashion show. The manager, Anthony (cool guy) shows us around and tells us about the place. Apparently its an artist workspace; painters, designers, and photographers all have studios here. It's a small gem of a community in the heart of city. I must say that I was taken with the space, but not enough to settle for it before I looked at the other places we found. In the end the Goat Farm was the clear choice. I love it and I think that it made the atmosphere of the show that much better.
