WHAT OTHER BLOGGERS ARE WRITING ABOUT ME
So, I was surfing the web and decided to Google my name, I know it sounds a little vain, right? Not really, i just wanted to know how i was being represented on the internet. It seems that people kinda like me. I've been feature in a few blogs. It always feels good when bloggers give you the spotlight.
PERFECTING MY CRAFT
I'm ripping rectangular shaped pieces of muslin, pinning it to the form, drawing my design lines, the tailors chalk breaks. I stand back to look at what I've draped so far, "hey that looks interesting" I say to myself, "maybe I should keep it that way." I now have a new design, slightly different from my sketch. I quickly sketch a new drawing which includes my newly found "interesting element." I glance at my iPod; it's 4:45 in the morning, wow, and o.k. I think to myself, so “I'll stay up for thirty more minutes to finish this muslin."
I didn’t make it to bed.
